The BYB Wave Buster from Yodock Simmons is a heavy-duty, specialty-formulated plastic unit that is set in place empty and filled on site. Light enough to move without heavy equipment and heavy enough once filled to hold its line, it gives contractors, municipalities and property owners a fast, adjustable alternative to traditional rock revetments.
Units link into continuous runs that absorb and dissipate wave energy, reduce erosion and encourage sand to build up behind the wall. Fill them with water for temporary or relocatable protection, or with sand or recycled tire chips for long-term installations.
